A Two Day Wedding at Tenuta dell’Alto in Puglia
The weekend began in Lecce, where the couple welcomed friends and family who had travelled from different parts of the world. They live in London and the guest list reflected that: international, lively and very ready to celebrate.
The following day, everyone moved to Tenuta dell’Alto in Puglia. It was over 30 degrees, the sun was uncompromising and the schedule was planned well enough that the day never felt rushed. Emme Wedding Studio kept everything moving quietly in the background, while the couple could simply enjoy it.
The bride wore Vivienne Westwood, and Nunzia Guerino Florist created the floral design. We had worked with Nunzia before, which made returning to Puglia feel familiar, even though this was our first wedding with the planning team.
What we remember most is not one single detail, but the atmosphere: constant laughter, excellent speeches and a guest list that brought real energy to every part of the day. The aperitivo moved into dinner, dinner into dancing, and somewhere in between we took the couple outside for a few portraits in the last light.
We photographed the wedding on digital and analogue film. The strong afternoon sun, the softer colours after sunset and the pace of the celebration suited both formats perfectly.
We work in Puglia more often each year, and weddings like this explain why. The region has remarkable venues, food and light, but just as importantly, a network of people who know how to create a wedding that feels polished without feeling staged.
