This celebration at Schloss Castell in Tägerwilen, Switzerland, was definitely one of the latter.
A classic, incredibly elegant wedding bringing together two families from different parts of the world. With the bride originally from Mexico and the groom from Switzerland, almost half of the guests had traveled all the way from Mexico to celebrate with them. A beautiful mix of cultures, languages and people, all coming together in this extraordinary setting.
An entire glasshouse had been constructed over several days leading up to the wedding, with every detail inside carefully considered. Walking into that space for the first time was quite something. The scale, the design, the atmosphere — it was one of those moments when you simply stop and take it all in.
Everything felt grand, yet wonderfully elegant.
The entire celebration was beautifully planned by Claudia Easton and Marlene Haberer of CM Weddings, whose incredible attention to detail and dedication brought this extraordinary vision to life.
And just when we thought the day couldn't get any better, the party started. A band had flown in from London, and they were genuinely among the best live wedding bands we have ever experienced. The energy was incredible, and watching everyone come together on the dance floor was easily one of our favorite parts of the day.
