Some places become part of your story long before you realize how important they will be.

For Maxime and Joshua, Ibiza is one of those places.

They first met at Pacha eight years ago, and after that summer, Joshua unexpectedly walked into Maxime’s classroom. What started as a friendship eventually became something much bigger. Eight years later, they returned to the island to celebrate their wedding with around 130 of their favorite people.

And what a weekend it was.

The celebrations began at Ses Boques, right by the sea, before continuing at the beautiful Atzaró Ibiza for the wedding day. Two very different settings, both capturing something we love about this island. Atzaró in particular is a place we would return to in a heartbeat. Its beautiful surroundings, warm Mediterranean atmosphere and understated elegance made it such a wonderful place to photograph.

There was incredible food, beautiful speeches and two seriously good parties. With family and friends coming together from France, the Netherlands and beyond, everything felt incredibly personal. Ibiza has always been a second home to Maxime and Joshua, and you could feel that connection throughout the entire weekend.

What we loved most was how much these two days were about the people. The emotions, the hugs, the dancing, and that wonderful feeling of everyone being exactly where they wanted to be.

The entire celebration was planned by Dionne and Juliette from About Summer Ibiza, who brought everything together so beautifully. The floral design by Flor del Mundo Ibiza, alongside the table styling and decorations by Boas Designs Ibiza and Studio Lois, gave the celebration its elegant, thoughtful aesthetic.

As Ibiza wedding photographers and filmmakers, we couldn't have asked for much more. Beautiful venues, a wonderful creative team, people who weren't afraid to show their emotions, and dance floors that were very difficult to leave.

Maxime and Joshua, thank you for letting us be part of your story. Coming back to the island where everything started to celebrate everything you've built together, it doesn't get much better than that.
