An Intimate Wedding in Rome

There’s something we love about photographing smaller weddings. The slower pace, the intimacy and the freedom to simply enjoy the day together.

Gizem and Samet travelled from Istanbul to celebrate their wedding in Rome. Starting at the beautiful Grand Hotel Plaza, we spent the day exploring the city with them, finding little moments between historic streets, beautiful architecture and the unmistakable atmosphere of Rome.

Photographed on both digital and 35mm film, their wedding was a lovely reminder that a celebration doesn't have to be big to feel special. Sometimes a beautiful city, two people in love and a little time to take it all in are more than enough.
