A London Wedding, Entirely on Film

Some weddings are impossible to photograph without smiling the entire time. Chu and Xavier's was one of them.

From their ceremony at Islington Town Hall to a ride through London on a red double-decker bus and a night of dancing at House of KOKO, the whole day was full of movement, laughter, kisses and people having the best time together.

I photographed everything on my Contax G2, entirely on analog film. No digital cameras, just a few rolls of film and a wedding that couldn't have been more suited to it.

Looking back at these photographs, it's the energy I love most. Nothing feels forced or overly polished. Just two people, their favourite people, and a day that was wonderfully, unapologetically alive.
