Tuscany Wedding Photographer: Sonika & Aaron’s Four-Day Indian Jewish Wedding

Four days, two families, countless beautiful outfits and around 130 people who came all the way from the US to celebrate Sonika and Aaron in Tuscany.

Sonika’s family is Indian, Aaron’s family is Jewish, and what we experienced over these four days at Monaciano was such a beautiful coming together of both cultures. A Welcome Dinner, Mehndi, Haldi, Sangeet, a Hindu ceremony and a Jewish ceremony, each celebration completely different, yet somehow everything belonged together.

And then there was Sonika. Her presence, her warmth, her energy, she is someone we will not forget. Photographing her in all those incredible looks over four days was pretty special.

We came as a team of four, documenting everything through photography, film and analog photographs. By the end, it honestly felt like we had been welcomed into the celebration ourselves. The families and guests were incredibly warm with us from day one and they definitely knew how to party.

A huge part of making four days like these feel so effortless is the team behind them. Wedding Italy, with Sonia Gallina and Aurora Petris, planned the entire celebration. We have worked with them before and always love doing so, they are simply wonderful at what they do.

For us as Tuscany wedding photographers, this was one of those celebrations that had everything we love: emotion, energy, traditions, amazing fashion, long days, wild nights and so many moments happening at once.
